The way Gu Nanxi has that wide eyed reaction every time he sees the Qing Chen form. Even after everything and then at the end he has to physically shake himself out of it because Qing Qing and Feng are official.

No one suffered more than Situ Feng like wow bro was put through it emotionally. Even Qing Qing was unnecessarily mean to him sometimes. Bro was trying to reconcile the fact that someone tried to take their own life while still being emotionally manipulated and gaslit into a toxic relationship, he doesn’t have time to even remember to ask you about your day, girl.

I like the little details showing how in sync the Feng/Nanx/Yiyang trio could have been when they were younger and all good friends. After Yiyang and Feng make up, whenever the 3 guys appear in scenes together they tend to be sitting/standing together, especially at the beach. When Feng announced he was dating Qing Qing in front of everyone Nanxi and Yiyang also both stood up at the same time to clink glasses. The also sat together at the wedding and had very similar reactions to whatever Feng did. And in the epilogue as Qing Qing enters the cafe the trio are all together and Yiyang and Nanxi are wearing similar long scarves but in different colours. Imagine when they were younger and hanging out together more as a trio they may have been even more in sync.
