Luffy not knowing how to tie shoelaces and that's not a problem since he's always wearing sandals but one day he wears shoes with laces idk why don't ask he just does and has no other shoe options
So the duty of tying his laces falls onto his partners and tbh idk where I'm going with this I just remembered that in middle school the way you knew if two people were together was because the guy would tie the girls shoelaces idk why
I think it was kinda like a princess treatment? Not sure but I wanted to make this about luffy but then I realized I never understood why people did that in the first place
maybe middle school Luffy and he can't get any more dress code warnings so he has to wear sneakers instead of his sandals but since he's always worn sandals he doesn't know how to tie his laces
He keeps tripping over his untied laces until nami tchs at him and bends down to tie his shoes for him which flusters and embarrasses Luffy leaving his face all red as he looks away
His partners glance at each other for a second and immediately understand what they must do
Any chance they get they lean down to tie luffy's shoe laces, they don't even have to be untied sometimes they'll just look down and say they look loose and redo them
They do it to see him blush, so even after Luffy learns to tie his shoe laces they keep doing it
