Rapunzel vs the Forces of Evil
pepsi girl
when u still have jackunzel drafts to get rid of
also ps i love pepsi
Hey I sorta know you and my roommate just brought home a stranger and theyâre going at it pretty hard can I stay here please
âNice pajamas.â
Rapunzel blinked and looked up in bemusement at the pair of blue eyes in the doorway. She took a swig of her Pepsi before wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. She knew what she was wearing, and didnât need to look down to note his comment about her rainbow unicorn flannel pajama bottoms and flimsy white tank top. Thank God she had grabbed a bra before leaving her room.
Thank. God.
âThanks,â she finally said as she curled under the mass of her blanket. Her eyes landed on her wriggling socked toes. She had forgotten to grab slippers on the way out. God forbid. âI picked them out myself.â
The boy looked altogether familiar, and she was sure sheâd seen him around pretty often. He had stark white hairâitâd be difficult not to take notice of him, but they had never introduced themselves, never gone further than âWait, hold the elevator.â
He moved forward into the ice room, eyeing her with amusement before landing in front of the Pepsi vending machine. Digging out some coins from his pockets, he plucked them in before wriggling out a bottle of Pepsi for himself. âItâs kind of late.â
âIs that why youâre buying a bottle of soda?â
âIs that why youâre drinking one?â
Rapunzel shrugged, smiling softly. âWell, my options were very limited.â
He looked to the vending machines. âSeems like a great variety, if you ask me.â
âI had trouble choosing between a Pepsi or sleeping next to my roommate having sex with a stranger,â she said nonchalantly. She picked at the label of her bottle, eyes focused on it for a split second and noting the low amount of sugar left, before meeting his. âSo you can see how I thought Pepsi was the better option.â
The boy tilted his head with a strange look before snorting with laughter. âYouâre right. Pepsi was the best option.â He grinned toothily before handing her the bottle. âHere.â
She raised a brow. âI have one.â
He shrugged his shoulders. âTake it. Youâre almost finished with that.â
A flush sprinkled across her cheeks. âI canât take this. You bought it for yourself.â
âTake it. I insist. You need something to keep you up while youâre in the waiting room. Unfortunately, I canât keep you company all night. I have an assignment due early in the morning.â He crouched to meet her eye level and then dropped the bottle into her lap. His hands reached out to pat her gently on the cheeks. She flinched. He laughed apologetically, âSorry. You just look so⌠Like a little lost puppy or something.â
She frowned. âYou mean, pathetic.â
He smiled, tilting this head. âNo. More like cute.â He sighed before getting up and stretching out his limbs. His feet padded their way towards the entrance. âAnyway. I gotta get going. Good luck with your roommate.â
âBut your Pepsiââ
âLike I saidâkeep it,â he grinned. Then he turned and waved the back of his hand as he exited the room, âBesides, Iâm more of a Dr. Pepper kind of guy.â
It wasnât until a few moments later when she had crawled into the safety of her bed after she was sure to clear way of any naked bodies or sexual escapades and after she had safely tucked the still-not-opened bottle of Pepsi into her fridge, that she had realized heâd never even bought himself a drink.
Nor did she catch his name.

day 3: releasing from the promise
totally basic AU: jack & rapunzel make a dealârapunzel will help him pass literature, and jack will land her a date with the boy of her dreams. sort of.
a/n: oops my hands slipped and suddenly this story came out from beneath my fingertips and idk where it came from lelelel. i was gonna write the âprologueâ in which said promise occurs, but⌠idk depends on how yâall feel about it bc now story feels too long as it is
also, pls donât kill me my knowledge of shakespeare is p much based on google
also, httyd ref if u kno what i mean
â
Some things in life are completely unexpected.
But really, she should have seen this one coming. It was the oldest cliche in the book. Nerdy school girl tutors boy because heâs terribly failing literature and needs the grade in order to continue playing soccer, and all she wants is.. was⌠well, to be seen in a romantic light with Flynn. A fellow soccer player, but mostly⌠her oldest friend. Who saw her simply as his childhood friend and God, probably worseâhis little sister.
He just needed a little⌠a little push and shove, you know? And Jack was supposed to help with that. Tit for tat. Of course, she realized too late that it didnât really matter in the end.
Seriously. Oldest cliche in the book.
How could she not have expected to fall in love with Jack Frost? He was incredibly snarky and really liked to pull at her leg sometimes, but he was kind-hearted and a good listener, and he really pushed her to be at her best. And really, who could forget his quite charming smileâ
âEarth to Rapunzel.â
spy au
[spy au lol i just watched spy last night, and this is based off that, and i literally spit random things regarding anything that sounds remotely official, so you know donât take it seriously
bc i had no idea what i was talking about LOL]
day 1: i donât want to ruin our friendship
A/N as of 7/13/16: i wrote this when spy with melissa mccarthy first came out which was who knows when (a year ago? lullll) but i thought it kind of fits with this prompt. thereâs a heck of a lot more to this story that i wrote but havenât finished, SO if i ever finish it, iâll publish!!! hope thatâs sooner than later bc iâve been writing consistently for the past friggin week
anyways, this is a quick drabble & preview but enjoy!!!!
âYou have two coming in from your left and one on your right.â
Jack huffed and maneuvered his body so that he could slam his left elbow into the face of one before twisting himself so that the last two bodies would ram themselves into each other. He cracked his neck before pressing his knuckles against each other until they popped. Then carefully, his fingers moved to adjust his hair and the tie hanging around his neck.
He adjusted the comms unit in his ear. âYou know, when this is over, letâs go on a date.â
He heard her laugh softly on the other side. God, he loved the sound of her laughter--like humming bells even though he was in the middle of a brewing storm. He stuffed his hands into the pockets of his trousers, grinning as he heard her respond. âDonât be ridiculous.â
âIâm being serious,â he said as he flashed a grin at the crowd of well-dressed people in the halls. Leisurely, he traipsed through, bidding his respected greetings until he reached the other end. He pushed the large double doors open and shut it softly behind him. âWe make a good team. Weâd probably make an amazing couple.â
He could hear her grin. âWeâre partners. Nothing more. Nothing less. You know how I feel about this, Jack.â Then a pause. âThereâs a body on the second floor in your area and a stairwell to your left. Heâs alone, but the sensor is reacting to the nuclear radiation from the nuke. Thatâs probably Pitchiner, so be careful.â
Jack sighed as he moved his way around the room, grabbing a flute of champagne from the table. He did know how she felt. She didnât want to date anyone in the CIA, especially not a field agent. I donât want to worry about whether or not youâll come home alive. I donât want something like that to eat me up, she had told him. I work in analysis and publications. Iâd never have to worry about my safety, but yours...
But you like me. And I like you. You know weâre good together, Rapunzel.
It doesnât matter. I donât want to ruin this... what we have right now. Weâre just partners. And thatâs all weâll ever be.
âOne date,â he said softly as he downed the flute and then set it on the table before him. His eyes shifted to the stairwell where a large bulky body stood. He only supposed it was Pitchâs bodyguard but didnât motion in the manâs direction. Instead, he adjusted his suit, pressing down on the creases and tidying up the buttons of his cuffs. âIt doesnât even have to be a date. Just dinner. You and me. As a reward for mission over.â
He heard her shuffle her body, shifting uncomfortably in her seat. He could imagine her then, the crease between her brows and the purse in her lips, the pink flush across her cheeks.
âCan you turn around and look out in the crowd? I canât see anything from your angle.â Jack moved as he was told. âThere are five stationed guards around the room based on their body language--two perched with two dark-haired ladies against the red couch, that one bulky one at the stairs, one passing out drinks, and the last one is standing three feet from the fireplace. You donât want to make yourself obvious to the crowd, so Iâm shutting down the power for a split second, but itâll turn back on in five minutes. Use that time to take them out and sneak up the stairs. Do you copy that?â
Jackâs gaze moved through the bodies in the crowd before shifting up to the ceiling. âIâll copy when you answer me, Punz.â
There was a long pause. âJack, focus on the mission--â
âJust answer the question.â
She sighed. âOkay. One date. But only if you finish the mission successfully.â
Jack grinned, shifting his feet in preparation to the blackout. âCopy that. No worries. Iâve got this in the bag.â
And that, in itself, was enough motivation for him to smoothly carry out the mission.
Jack wasnât sure how long heâd been head over heels for his partner. He remembered the first time meeting her and every mission in between and somewhere amidst all of it, he had lost his heart. He had been completely against a new partner at first--not necessarily because of her but because he was quite content with his partner as it was, and he didnât need a new one. But then Hiccup had to up and get married to that one field agent, and things just got kind of hectic ever since.
And even though they had told Jack he was a good field agent and didnât necessarily need a partner, they still told him it would be in his best interest to start his search for a new one.
Thatâs when he met her, a shiny new object in a very old building.
âYouâre new here,â he had told her in a very blank and matter-of-fact voice. And she was--it was very obvious in the way her body shifted nervously around, her arms tight around herself, her constant wandering up and down the halls. Many of the agents were leaving work for the evening, but he was stuck still filing some goddamn paperwork from his last mission, and it was hard not to notice some strange girl walking around the building, obviously lost and clueless. âWhat are you doing?â
âIâm, uh... killing time,â she had said shyly, her fingers clutching around her purse. âIâm waiting for my ride.â
His brows knitted together. âSo youâre just walking around.â
She had flushed. âIâve... only seen parts of the building. I thought it would be nice to see the other areas. Well, the parts I could get access to. I donât have clearance for everything.â
âWhat area do you work in?â
âAnalytics and publications.â
âHuh,â he muttered as he leaned back in his chair, twisting his pen in his mouth.
âWhat are you working on?â
âPaperwork,â he sighed as he leaned forward. âOperation Camus: 23. Very basic information, but I just canât seem to remember the exact details regarding weaponry that were discussed when they closed the case--â
Her eyes lit up and before he could grasp the situation, words began to pour out of her mouth, âOh, I know a couple of things. Maybe theyâll help? The RDD, test name Stranger, weighed 11.3 tons, measured 145.23 inches in length and 52.3 inches in diameter. Coordinates were 30°7â50â N, 90°5â42â W. Detonation time and location at 5:30 AM on February 20th local time and--â
âWait, hold up,â he said quickly, narrowing his eyes. Her face turned bright red suddenly, and she bit her lip. âI know that information isnât classified among the agents, but youâre so new. How did you know all of that?â
He watched panic fly through her bright green eyes and didnât know it was possible for her red cheeks to darken even more. âI told you, I work in analytics--â
âEven my past analytics partner couldnât say all of that off the top of his head, and heâs been here for years--â
âThey put me in the discussion room when they closed the case--just to oversee as a trainee, and I just... have really good... almost perfect memory,â she had blurted, flinching as the words came out of her mouth. âI mean, I donât know if those were the exact details, but Iâm just really good at defining and remembering the small bits no one else would remember--â
Jack had stared at her then and knew immediately he wanted her as his new partner, but all that he had managed to do was laugh quietly and give her a smile. âRelax--I donât bite. I was just curious. Iâm Jack. I work in the field.â
Relief flooded her face. âRapunzel.â
âRapunzel, huh?â He grinned then, leaning forward so that his hands clasped together to cradle his chin. âHey, I know this is jumping the gun, but... would you consider being my partner?â

Jackunzel Week 2016 Day 2: Sheâs Not My Girlfriend (Grease Live! AU)
This wasnât the boy she fell in love with.
Rapunzel felt her eyes growing warm. âWhat happened to the Jack Frost that I met at the beach?â
Jackâs eyes focused on the ceiling, too aware that his friends were gauging how much he cared for the girl who was close to tears. God, how he hated to see her cry.Â
This was the girl he fell in love with. She had his heart fisted in her hands the moment that they met, and she never let it go.Â
He knew that he could just fess up to his friends, that she was more important than any flimsy reputationâthat he could be brave by saying a few small words.
Jack bit back a sigh and smirked. âI donât know baby, maybe thereâs two of us! Why donât you run along and take a missing personâs ad, or try the Yellow Pages.â
He couldnât hear her words through the ringing in his ears. All he saw was the trickle of tears and the flash of her red skirt as she ran away.

trigger warning (slight mentions of suicide 1st section)
--
Rapunzel was a lost soul when she joined the Black Cat crew.
Jack could probably remember the exact day he met her, their exact exchange of words, as well as the way she looked--which was terrible in all sorts of ways.
Before she had joined, she had been tormented by her mother, had run away from home, and then started a career in art. She had been successful for a while with honors and art shows, but her life spiraled down into a pit again when her mother reappeared, hoping to collect what she believed was hers.Â
She disappeared once more and went into hiding. After years of stress and sadness, of burdens she didnât know how to get rid of, of tears she had learned long ago to keep in, she had thought it was about time to end it all.
She had thought it was time to commit suicide.
Around that same time, the Black Cat was hired by her mother to locate her.Â
The Black Cat was an underground organization that specialized in art heists with a priority in their own greed, stealing art and selling pieces to the black market. The stolen goods made a fortune, and the rewards were split between their three main operators and a variety of people who helped them when contracted.Â
Their specialty, though, was art.Â
So when Gothel had called asking to steal her, Jack wasnât exactly sure how to respond. He had heard of Rapunzel before--everyone had. She was the infamous, disappearing artist. Like a valuable lost artwork, she had been relatively popular among the art community until she altogether but disappeared, and no one knew when, where, or how.
At first, he had declined on behalf of his team. âThatâs kidnap. We donât kidnap people.â
âItâs not kidnap if itâs my daughter. Iâm just trying to bring her home. Iâm scared--sheâs never been on her own before,â had been Gothelâs reply.
Jack was uncomfortable sealing the deal, but Gothelâs words were hard to twist out of and somehow convinced his team to shoulder on the case. The catch, the team told her, was that they would hand deliver--and if the girl didnât look like she would be in good hands, they would let her go free.Â
âAnd,â he had said when he had made the deal, âif we decide to quit, you let us quit.â
She had made threats to call the police about their little organization, which he had countered with documentation on her attempt to hire an organization to kidnap a girl. âYou donât want to mess with us, Gothel,â he said in a low voice. âI can pull papers out of thin air. You can try to accuse us all you want, but when the feds look into your accusation, they wonât find us, and all theyâll discover is a lady whoâs gotten herself into some deep stuff. Do we have a deal?â
The day they found her was probably the day both Merida and Hiccup could pinpoint as life-changing for both Jack and Rapunzel.Â
The plan, at first, had been to coax her to follow them. Then, as they discussed it through, they decided that option probably wouldnât be the best way to go. As a runaway daughter, she would have no incentive to go back home. So they decided, then, that they would have to knock her out and just kidnap her (and, in the case that it looked as if she really didnât want to stay with Gothel, release her).
But when Jack stepped into the apartment room that she had been living in, he hadnât expected her to be tying a noose around her ceiling lamp. His eyes widened and without thinking, he ran to her side and gripped his arms around her waist, pulling her from her chair and down to the ground with him.
âAre you stupid? What are you doing?â he had yelled.
âMe?â she had asked, horror-stricken. âI could ask you the same thing. Who are you? Why are you breaking into my apartment? If you want something, just take it. Itâs not like thereâs anything of value here anyway.â
Jack remembered thinking how sad and pitiful it was to hear a surrender from a girl who put no value into a single thing she owned--not even herself. âDonât be stupid,â he had muttered in response. âIf thereâs anything of value in this apartment, itâs you.â
She had flinched. âDonât say that. I donât want to hear it.â
Jack found himself rewinding back to Plan A--coaxing her. Except this time, the end result wasnât to deliver her to Gothel. The end result would just be to make sure she decided to live. And stay alive.Â
A lot of tears were spilled that night, followed by a long conversation. He convinced her that that she could have a home, a place where she belonged, a place without sadness and fear. He offered her a family, and though she was doubtful and hesitant at first, decided to give in to his kindness. When he looked into her eyes, he could see that she would rather be hanging on a noose. But even so, he was glad she had chosen to put her hand in his instead.Â
The purpose of that mission that night was to kidnap a masterpiece to return to Gothel, and yet he left the apartment with a lost soul instead.Â

famous, pt. 2
summary:Â part 2 continuation of this au where jack is a movie star and bumps into rapunzel as heâs running away from paparazzi
honestly doesnât make much sense unless you read part 1 as it cuts into right where i left off
hereâs part 1: famous
enjoy part 2
âWhat does it feel like,â Jack asked with amusement, âto be named after a fairytale?â
Now settled in a deserted alley of a suburban neighborhood--away from the paparazzi--the two shifted their bodies comfortably on the ground. It was weird, Rapunzel couldnât help but think, that her day which had started out so normally had now landed her in the presence of some movie star she had never heard of before.
Not that she was complaining, but it was something she never dreamed would ever happenâat least not to her.
âI am the fairytale,â Rapunzel responded seriously after a moment. âYou know, right now, youâre famous and all for whatever movie youâre in, but youâll find me in the newspapers one day. And itâll talk about a girl who was locked away in a tower, and a prince came to save her using her ridiculously long hair. And that girl will be me.â
He raised a brow. âI think your story would be kind of hard to believe, considering youâre one, not locked in a tower, and two, your hair isnât even long enough to save anyone, much less yourself or a prince.â
She smiled. âWell, it was worth a shot. Who knows? I could be famous one day. Then youâll regret not remembering my name.â
The look he gave her was steady, his eyes holding hers for a minute too long that she almost pulled her gaze away. It was as if he had all the time in the world and the only thing that mattered in those sixty seconds to him, was her.
âI donât think I could forget your name,â he said softly. âOr you, for that matter.â

-
He hears his alarm first. Then the door second.
Jackâs arms outstretch to slam the noise to silence, fingers slowly dragging down the front screen before landing back beside him. A groan elicits from his lips as he turns to pull his comforter over his head. He expects silence to welcome him with open arms, and slumber to easily overcome his body soon after, and honestly, after the events of this past weekâhe needs sleep.
At least enough to get him through his thirteen-hour road trip home for the holidays.
But another noise reckons into the air, timid knocking against wooden panel a reminder of the person standing on his front porch. Goddammit.
He shifts his body until he can take a good look at the bright red numbers glaring back at him. 6:30. He squints to make heâs not hallucinating because honestly, who the hell would be at his apartment at 6:30 in the morning?
But no. The number ticks once more, and the clock changes to 6:31. A hard rap at the door tells him heâs not hallucinating, and someone is, in fact, stupid enough to wake him up this early.
âFine, fine. Iâm coming,â he mutters to himself, his voice thick with sleep. His eyes open slowly, sleepily, his body lethargic and as heavy as dead weight. He swears to God that if itâs some dumb salesman trying to make him pay for new windows or something equally stupid, heâll punch the fool in the face.
Everybody should know that he doesnât wake up before 11 AM unless he wants to. Everybody. Even the goddamn salesman.
Languidly, he pulls himself out of bed until his feet softly hit the cold floor. He dazedly stares at the wall for a split second, finding very little will to push himself awake to greet the stranger at the front door, and his heart feels even heavier as he recalls that his worst nightmare had finally come true.
His fingers clench at the edge of the bed, and his eyes flutter until they fall to the floor. Thinking back to the climax of his life suddenly puts him in a bad mood, and he thinks for a moment that heâd rather just let the fool at the door stay a fool and go back to bed.
But the knock comes again, louder this time, more furious and impatient, and he feels whatever the fool has to say must be relatively important for him to still be knocking.
Jack drags his hands down his face, allowing more pressure at the edge of his eyes in hopes that it will wake him up, if even just slightly. He makes his way to his drawers and pulls them open, rummaging around for a clean shirt to pull over his chest. The first drawer comes up clean; he makes his way through the rest and frowns when he realizes that because of everything that had happened, he hadnât even done his laundry.
âGoddammit,â he sighs as he scopes his room in hopes for a shirt that is at least relatively clean. They land on a white undershirt pooled at the bottom of his bed. He lifts it from the corner and sniffsââGood enough.â
The knocking comes again as Jacks pulls the shirt over his headââIâm coming!â he yells, hoping that his voice will travel through the walls and to his front door. He doubts it, but at least itâs worth a try. âJust give me a second, Christ.â
He stumbles to the door, feet shuffling one after the other in asymmetrical line. Then he hears his cellphone burst into song and closes his eyes in frustration.
âWhat the fuck is everyoneâs problem this morning?â he mutters as he grabs his phone from its charging port. âCanât you guys pick a different time to bother meâŚâ
His voice trails off when his eyes land on the picture and name of her familiar face, the reason for his entire life crashing before him and his lacking clean wardrobe. Suddenly his throat feels dry, his heart pounding a millisecond faster than before, his ears burning with anxiety, and he doesnât know if he should answer the phone or leave it be or maybe, maybe he should finally answer the fool at the door.
But the longer he stares at her face, the more he canât help but know that this phone-call is far more important than anything else, and if thereâs anything he needs to do, if thereâs anything he must choose, itâs answering her phone-call.
He realizes heâs stared at it too long, and sheâs been sent to voice-mail. He blinks at her name scribed next to âMissed Calls (1)â, and then lifts his head when the knocking at his door commences.
Heâll just answer the door really quickly and call her back.
Problem solved.
He moves to greet the fool at the front door, his hand pulling on the knob when his phone starts ringing again. He squints when he sees her face, but his fingers are automatic, quickly pressing âAnswerâ before she has the chance to hang up on him.
The sudden motion at the door reminds him that he needs to tell the fool to leave when his eyes land on blonde hair.
His mouth goes dry.
She spins at the sound of the open door, eyes widening when they land on his unsure and nervous figure, her fingers clenching around the phone pressed against her ear. Her cheeks grow pink as she opens her mouth to speak and decides against it. They stand there for a second, silence falling between them.
He swallows thickly, canât decide if sheâs real or if heâs just so desperate to fix everything with her and talk to her and be with her that heâs made her all up in his head.
But then she speaks, and he knows sheâs here. That sheâs real, and heâs not fully crazy.
ââŚHi,â she breathes. Her nervous voice echoes in his ear through his phone, but he canât bring himself to hang up on her.
âHi,â he responds after a moment.
She opens her mouth and then closes it, biting her lip. Her eyes anxiously shift down to the ground, the quiver in her lips and her hands easily telling him that itâs taken all that she has to show up at his door. âUmâŚâ she forces herself to look up and meet him in the eyes, âIâmââ
âYouâre here,â he says softly.
She nods slowly. âIâm here.â
âI didnâtâŚâ his voice trails off. He doesnât⌠didnât a lot of things. Didnât know she was coming. Didnât know she would come. Didnât know if things could even be fixed.
She answers for him, as if she knows the exact thoughts in his head. She probably does. âMe neither,â she says.
Her eyes peer up at him, and he doesnât know what to make of all the emotions swirling in them. He canât decide what to do, canât decide what he should do, if heâs still angry about everything that had happened or if he loves her too much to really be angry because sometimes things happen, and even though heâs angry, he doesnât want to let her go. Or if this is it, and everything that had happened had happened for a reason, and their relationship wasnât meant to be.
Heâs about to say somethingâanythingâwhen she blurts in a broken voice, âUmâIâm sorry!â
Tears start pouring down her face, forming at the crevice of her eyes and streaking down her flushed cheeks, and he can just hear the effort it takes for her to say a single word without her voice cracking. Everything inside of him melts, and whatever anger he had once had towards her simply dissipates, telling him that nothing matters so long as they love each other.
That sometimes, people make mistakes, but that doesnât mean they donât deserve forgiveness.
âIâm soâso sorry,â she manages to spit out through her tears as she cradles her arms. âI didnâtââ
âI know,â he says softly.
âI never meant to hurt youââ
âI know.â
âI⌠Iââ
âYouâre here,â he reminds her as he takes a step closer. He remembers heâs got his phone pressed against his ear, and he pulls it away and hangs up on her. Then he moves forward and takes her phone out of her hand and gently tucks it into her coat pocket. His arms are baring the cold of the season, but itâs okay because sometimes you take the pain to deal with things that are far more important, and this is far more important.
âIâm here.â She swallows her tears. âIâm reallyââ
âI forgive you,â he says gently as he takes her face into his hands. He smiles softly. âI love you.â
