Welcome to the Rapture Family

Hello Cult of Rapture!

At the moment, the only parts of the site that are finished are the directories, and honestly only the active portion of it. This however, is not the overarching purpose of The Rapture Family. The Rapture Family was not set up to be the directory or promo cornerstone of the Bioshock Roleplay community.

While the lists will be kept up to date, our mods will merely be keeping a record for roleplayers or fans to access. 

The highlighting of roleplayers’ talents, art, creativity, and writing are not our direct interest, which works out well since that is where your group shines. 

Instead, it will simply be another resource for people in the Bioshock community to access- alongside all other aspects of the game and Rapture that are not explicitly connected to roleplay. Our goal in this website is to collect all aspects of a fan’s experience in regards to Rapture, and encourage them to contribute to it- who knows, perhaps even bolstering the rp community themselves!

We hope this clears everything up for you. Thank you all for your continued effort and dedication to the Bioshock community!

We just want to be clear. We have zero qualms or conflicts with the Cult of Rapture directory. It is your own website, and we would not presume to tell anyone how to participate in their hobby. As a group of people who are both on the directory and has benefited from your policy on showcasing art, we can only approve regardless.

But if you have general questions about why we created the Rapture Family, the description on the main page is all we can possibly say. It is us at our most concise, sadly. However we add that we are a new and independent group, with at this point zero affiliations to any other group past or present.

We meant no disrespect nor ill will towards you, and greet you as new colleagues in our incredibly small community!
