why are you green?

tumblr changed reblog maps. the lines between reblog dots (which gave the maps color and whimsy) have been reduced to a barely-visible gray. they also did some other Weird stuff i'm not a fan of (i complained about it yesterday in this post: https://www.tumblr.com/i-like-reblog-maps/807035253204172800/it-doesnt-fucking-let-you-un-select-it-and-i-am)

so i greened myself, because the maps without color look like shit. the green unfortunately does not make the lines more visible, but it does make the maps look less depressed, and that is giving me the strength to continue mapping

they removed the whimsical blue that made the maps look like constellations. it's so much harder to see how the maps are actually structured now. it's so stupid. but hey, green reblog dots is better than no color at all, imo

the "pumpkin" and "goth rave" themes also change the dot colors if you prefer orange or purple!
