not an ask because i cant fit it all into one, but the most cursed thing ive ever seen the hermits do is that one tango stream from s7. basically someone asked tango to bring them some gravel. when tango flew to the shopping district to deliver it he came across the mycelium resistance silently staring down bdubs while he worked on one of the roads.
tango joined them. after a bit of that grian logged out and came back with a smiley bdubs face (this was shortly after bdubs changed his skin to what it is now). he showed it off to bdubs and tango, taking the hat layer of his skin off so that they could see it better. the whole time he said nothing, just paraded around showing off his face and creeping everyone out.
then all of the mycelium resistance members put on smiley bdubs heads and followed tango wherever he went, circling around him like a flock of vultures, creeping towards and backing away from him and generally moving erratically to disturb him. they also splashed themselves with invisibility potions so that it looked like just a swarm of floating heads was stalking tango.
eventually tango snuck into the mycelium resistance’s base, put on a bdubs head, and flew back to the cult. he then started screaming and begging them to leave him alone. after that the cult started chanting “ONE OF US” and they all danced together like the maniacs they were.
when the dancing was over each resistance member stood in front of tango in a row as if they were awaiting orders from him. tango yelled at them to leave. and in a split second every one of them logged off. throughout all of this the resistance was completely silent.
to this day no hermit has explained what happened or why they did any of that. they just decided to terrorize tango for an hour.
