Your nerves are through the roof tonightâway more than usual. You made the rookie mistake of telling Vogue that Joe Keery was your celebrity crush⌠and, well, your team never misses an opportunity to tease you. So naturally, heâs the one youâre about to âarrestâ during your show tonight.
Adrenaline is high and your buzzing as you hold up the infamous fuzzy cuffs with a grin thatâs 90% confidence, 10% panic. âYou guys know I love to arrest people,â you announce, letting your voice drip with playful menace.
You glance around the audience, trying to steady your nerves, as you laugh a little. âIâve heard there are some strange things going on in the crowd tonight.â
You think youâre slick but youâre not, word has already gotten out that heâs at your show. The crowd explodes with cheers and whistles and your stomach does somersaults.
âWell, letâs see if there are any troublemakers in the house tonight,â you continue, and the camera doesnât even need a cueâit immediately lands on him.
There he is. Joe. Sitting a few rows back, flashing that effortlessly charming grin that makes your brain short-circuit.
âOH MY GOSH! HIII!â You croon, feigning surprise ⌠stepping forward, letting the mic pick up the teasing in your voice.
âWhatâs your name?â
âJoe!â he shouts, a little too eagerly. Doesnât matter, by the time the words leave his mouth, the entire arena is shouting it back at you.
You tilt your head, letting a slow smile spread across your face.
âJoe, huh? Youâre looking⌠out of this world. Do you wanna be my Juno and make me goâŚ.. upside down?â
The crowd goes wild again, but all you can see is him, laughing like he knows exactly how much youâre melting.
Later that night, when youâre finally out of your costume and scrolling through your phone to decompress, you see a new DM request.
