Nop, just allergies ma’am
So, I will tell you a little history that happened to me in hopes to help someone suffering from the same issue. This was quite a long drama for me at time, but I will summ it up for you.
I’ve had skin allergies (dermatitis) since I was little and in my opinion the clinical history of the patient should be relevant to any dermatologist.
Anyways, a few years ago I had this itchy in my skin that wouldn’t leave me alone, I went to dermatologist and she looked the skin rash and said scabies, “Great, I don’t believe you”. So after a few months I went again to another one and same diagnosis. “Ok, maybe she is right. Two said the same thing”, and I took the meds which are basically insecticides if you don’t know and guess what, few months later the itchy came back.
The important thing here is no one from my family got it, even after few months without treatment and I never had the excruciating, can’t sleep itchy that people say about on the internet. And yes, I said it to them. I guess some doctors have god syndrome and can listen only to themselves.
In the end I had a allergic outbreak from the shampoo we used for washing my cute dog, he had allergies too, poor thing. My skin went raw in a few places and it didn’t get better, it seemed that each bath I took it got worse. And actually it really did. In the end I came to conclude that I was having a allergic reaction to dove soap, changed to lux, had too but not so bad. And so I changed to glycerin soap, the same I used as a baby and byebye allergies.
So, what I learned was, if you’re allergic try changing the products you use before going to the doctor, because if you go, there’s a big chance that they will misdiagnose you.
And If you’re wondering why I got better after treatment, I guess it was because at that time I change the soap to Sulfur one, that supposedly was good for scabies.
