My father got sick so I came back to be with my family. I’m still performing and writing music though. The dream has ended, just changed directions.

I got to perform at the Tribal Cafe in L.A. It’s a big open mic spot for new talent. It got me my manager so it helped me out.

Stumbling out the front doors of the hotel, sunglasses forced up her face to remain somewhat anonymous, Beth clutched the iced coffee to her chest cautiously. It had been so long since she had been out, alone, in a city this large, she really didn’t know what to do with herself. Sighing, she sat down on a small seat, watching all the tourists flock past. “When I decided to come home, this really isn’t what I meant,” she sighed, feeling completely lost in amongst everyone.
