“every job is a skilled job” isn’t necessarily bad rhetoric but I think it’s important to acknowledge that jobs have been de-skilled for the purpose of making workers more replaceable, which in turn lowers wages and increases profit.

like, the argument shouldn’t be “these workers are skilled and that’s why they deserve living wages”. it should be “these workers are people and that’s why they deserve living wages”
