The only good thing about being born into the Manoban family as a girl was that Raina Blue didn’t have to deal with two emotionally distant parents alone. With an older brother and her twin always by her side, the three of them were thick as thieves.

Their father, a renowned businessman, and their mother, a Belgian actress, always put tremendous expectations on them. They had to be the best at everything, no excuses whatsoever. Emphasizing societal traditions, the boys were expected to take after the family business, while Raina, well, she was expected to marry off well. Play the piano well, sing, dance, and most importantly, not get involved in any of the businesses.

The three of them had everything they wanted, or needed, from a life of luxury to multiple nannies, attending the best schools in Thailand and later abroad. Everything but what truly could matter: the warmth of a parent's love.

Years went by fast, and luxury, believe it or not, leaves a void. Raina Blue graduated from a top university in the United States with her brothers and decided not to return to Thailand immediately. Instead, she invested. And she invested smart. She studied the market relentlessly and launched her own business in Chicago. That was considered a move her father did not approve of, as in his eyes, she was only a girl.

It wasn’t until her mother suddenly passed away that their lives turned upside down. Her death alone wasn’t exactly the shocking part, but rather how quickly their father remarried afterward, choosing a woman nearly half his age; a demanding and impulsive individual the siblings loathed.

It has been a little over a year since Raina decided to sell her business and move to California, where her eldest brother’s company started to bloom. The weather suits her better, and she has missed living by the sea. More importantly though, her brother asked her to work as his executive assistant and take over whenever he was away. There was no way she could ever say no to him.

Raina Blue is well aware of how blessed her life has been and remains grounded and kind. Some people can't even tell she comes from money, as she tries to give back to the world in different ways; whether it's by supporting animal shelters, donating anonymously or simply helping communities affected by natural disasters, she does it without seeking any recognition. She simply finds joy in knowing people's ( or animals' ) lives are affected for the better.

Raina loves music. That is the only thing in her life that didn't feel forced upon her, like most activities of prestige. The piano as well as the violin are her two true passions.

Over the years, Raina has forced herself to become a little bit more cautious about who she lets into her life. Experience has taught her to grow wary of others' intentions, especially those who see nothing but a golden goose and not the real person behind it all. She values sincerity above all else, no matter how raw or unfiltered it is.
