...both Nina and Sett on their knees, staring at themselves in the water during these pivotal moments. Through their despair, they found themselves... and then, through that, they found each other. That mirrored imagery is so intentional, and I wanted to highlight how uncanny it is when you place those panels side by side. Almost identical. Even from the very beginning, Az “finds” Nina. But later on, Nina says she found Sett. Then by the end, when Nina is once again in despair and staring at her reflection in the water, it’s Sett who finds her this time. Full circle. They’re the embodiment of finding each other. That phrase pops up so many times, both in the dialogue and in how the story physically shows it:

When Nina pulls away from Az and says to herself that she “found”

Sett On the bridge before they fall, she clings to him and says she won’t let go, because she found him

When Sett’s wandering around all sad and aimless, thinking his feelings are one-sided, and then Nina calls out to him: “Found you.”
