tonight i look up to the stars, i look up at the moon and whisper for her to treat you better than you had been on earth. i look up at the stars and hope for them to play your favorite song as you take the rest you’ve been needing for the past 27 years. i look up at the universe and although i feel sad, i know that the stars rejoice at you coming home and taking your place among them. over time my scars will heal, as yours will up there, and i hope the angels will come to know the beauty of your soul, as i did down here. continue to rest, i will watch over you and make sure the beautiful pieces of you within the hearts of those you touched lives on, you did so well. sleep well, my angel. my jonghyun. my star. my universe.
