This is my intro post. I am the Rainbow Phantasm. But you may simply call me Mr Phantasm... or something. I don't really mind what people call me as long as it's not like a slur or something.

Things to know about moi

I have been building worlds in my head for slightly more than a decade and a half now, but only recently (or well as recently as 6 years can be), have I been able to pen down my stories! I have been able to publish 2 books and have a third on the way. I really enjoy making characters. I have probably over a 1000 that just are in my head somewhere living their own lives.

I really like absurdist fantasy and art in general. I like stuff that is weird in some way with intricate worlds that are made of patchwork, stitched and cobbled together over years with several different iterations.

Inspirations

I am inspired by a variety of artists but if I had to list 5 rather prominent inspirations I'd probably say:

I have too many interests to share (at once). Though one of my more prominent ones, and one you're very likely to see pop up everywhere in my stories, is my love for the internet! I especially like exploring something like the old internet. I also really like animation.

What I will post

So I thought I may as well make something to interact with people and share art. Primarily because I don't really have any other way to do the latter as other social media platforms are foreign to me. Secondarily Tumblr gives me the Ask-Box, a little post-box all my own where you can ask questions about my stories and characters! Ignoring the fact that I mixed up the order of those statements, I just think it'd be nice to do something like this.

You can ask my characters anything you like! They will answer to the best of their capabilities... or not. Most likely the former, but we can't exclude the possibility of the latter.

I will also be making posts about my general thoughts! Most of them are extremely silly or will be about both my niche and popular interests

Colors of the soul: A warning

Behold! Time (Chronon Zenith Capitis)! Everyone's favourite cat-boy!

I actually made some art for him way way way back. It was years ago (6 to be precise) Since then, I haven't drawn him... until now. While I have improved somewhat over the years, I have quite the long way to go. I'll probably take an art course or something! But for now, let us proceed, CATWARD!

Intro:

Name: Chronon Zenith Capitis

Alias/Title: Time

Age: 2 billion + 100 + 14.5 ± 1.5 years old

Likes: Doodads of all kind which he could tinker with, Video games, the internet, inventing stuff

Dislikes: Getting those around him into more trouble

Description: He is a heterochromatic lanky cat-boy. Albeit it is hard to tell the 'cat' part as it exists relative to his human side. While he has cat paws like the rest of his race, he hides them under something that kind of operates like a pair of mannequin hands. The most visible part is his eyes which are clearly those of a feline. His left eye is blue and his right eye is red.

His outfit is like a rainbow-colored matryoshka doll. Every layer is in a different color. The outermost is a blue jacket. Just underneath is a white overcoat. It is the overcoat for a red collared shirt with the collars being squished down by the weight of the jacket. Below that shirt is a black t-shirt of moderate size. Finally the innermost layer is his yellow undershirt. How does he wear so much? MAGIC! Though for a real answer, he is well accustomed to wearing many articles of clothing. It helps when he is mostly in desolate empty places inhabited by the cold. Popping out from under the cusps of the various pieces of clothing he wears is also a set of colored folds. It is important to note, green and purple are also seen as part of the folds. Topping off his outfit is his pair of jeans, extremely sloppy and loose. They seem rather ill-fitting.

Personality: He is extremely witty and will never give up a chance to crack a joke or get people laughing. He deeply cares about the people around him. He also has an indomitable will which lets him keep going even when many others would have given up. This combined with his creativity and general intelligence allows him to plan and plot in advance, primarily to avoid violence, and if necessary to minimize it in any way possible. It also gives him the ability to bring his ideas to life in the form of inventions. He has a taste for adventure and enjoys exploring the world and discovering new things. He has a variety of interests and gets along quite well with kids.

Relationships:

Lucy: He is very close to her. He is her friend in the truest sense of the word. Beyond that, while he hasn't quite admitted it, or even quite realized it, he is the closest thing Lucy has to a proper father as the primordial god of chaos can't quite interact with her under normal circumstances. It helps that Time's actions did lead to Lucy's creation. Lucy in turn looks up to him as both a friend and a caretaker. Time does his best to be there for Lucy and treats her with a great deal of platonic familial affection (quite possibly because he himself also was part of an unusual family).

Ash: He treats Ash with respect, albeit pushing his buttons at times. He understands why Ash is angry and as such tries to help him by showing that things don't have to always be horrible. That he can still smile no matter how bad it gets.

The Chaos King/The Devil: Time considers the devil an extremely close friend. More so than anyone else. This is because despite the Chaos King claiming to be evil, Time sees a light glowing inside him. Primarily, in the more heroic actions he takes even if those are done with some kind of transparent self-interest. Besides that, Time sees beyond the Devil's limitless power and see someone like himself, someone who has faced an eternity and come out the other end. He knows how it feels like to be alone for so long and doesn't want the devil to feel that way. Their bond is unique as it exists across every single alternate version of them.

Misc:
