Put a Ring On It - ft. Raiden

Cameron dashed past people, muttering unheard apologies as he noticed the building a few metres up ahead. Cāmon, you canāt be late, sheāll never forgive you for this, he thought to himself. Pushing himself to be just a little faster, he ducked under more people, opening the door that seemed to have his name pasted on it.Ā āCrap, sorry Iām late.ā If he were being honest, being on time was one of his specialities, it was just that he wasnāt about to spend time fixing his hair over and over again and worrying all on his own, and so he took his time getting to know people around, just to find himself having 17 minutes to change, get his hair done, and to not throw up in worry.
Taking the suit in one hand, he barely cared about what it looked like; even if he didnāt like it, there was nothing he could do about it. He slipped the white shirt on, stumbled into his trousers and grabbed the belt that was hung. He did a double take when he realised it was blue; heād have to hide it with his jacket. Flipping his collar up, he hastily put on the tie, thanking god it was a pre-tied bowtie. After throwing his jacket on, he opened the door of the changing room just to be met by assistants throwing shoes and socks at him while simultaneously trying to gel his hair up. He tried to keep his head level while putting on socks and shoes, deciding against fight the staff. Heād pissed them off enough already.Ā āOkay, okay! 5 minutes!ā Someone a distance away shouted. Cameron cursed quietly, getting dragged by a lady towards the room that the wedding was taking place.Ā āWe canāt have you two seeing each other, cāmon!ā He trailed after quickly, walking into the room where he was met with a round of applause. He almost burst out laughing to himself, the venueās walls were all made of glass; there was no way he wouldnāt see her. His attention was then brought to a trail of white behind a plant. He hoped that was his future wife, and if it were, he hoped that sheād ābreak the rulesā and turn around.

TODAY WAS THE DAY. the day in which she would be doing something no one close to her had ever dreamed of. she was marrying a stranger; someone who she had never seen, never had the chance to and has never even gotten the name of. a complete stranger. ā are you certain about this? ā some of her closest friends had asked. ever since she was young, raiden had been the one willing to take bigger jumps than others around her. she lived life as though it would be taken away from her any second. ā what could possibly go wrong? ā she replied. this is an experiment that would last six weeks in total. if the pair was not right for one another? they had the option of getting a divorce. although, she was hoping that wasnāt the route theyād have to resort to. the experts paired her with this man for a reason and that is what she had to remember going into this. right now, everything was such a blur due to how quickly everything was going. reality finally set in and her stomach was suddenly in knots. what if this stranger wasnāt the one for her? what if he wasnāt happy with her in general? so many thoughts raced through her mind. ā i know that look. ā the make-up artist spoke up, adding some final touches. ā you have last minute jitters. ā the female laughed ā and it is perfectly fine to feel that way! but donāt work yourself up. ā she added. nodding her head, she took a deep breath in attempts to calm her nerves. everything was going to be fine. ā are you ready for your dress? ā questioned the woman. nodding quickly, a smile worked itās way onto her features. the dress was simply breathtaking. the dress was both romantic and elegant -- a strapless tulle ball gown embellished with metallic re-embroidered lace and rhinestones. the net over sequined skirt is finished with self-fabric bows and a semi-cathedral train. she was in complete awe. all in all, this was practically the dress of her dreams. ā wow. ā she uttered breathlessly. with the help of the others, getting the dress on and laced up was easy as pie. she looked like an actual bride. ā you have two minutes to yourself and then itās time to meet your husband. ā the director smiled closing the door behind her. two minutes; she would be getting married to a stranger in two minutes. this was so much information to process but she was actually excited for him to see her. spinning around, her eyes widened slightly as the scene before her came into view. she could see him which meant that he could also see her. in an instant, a knock sounded through the air alerting her that it was time. ā itās now or never, raiden. ā were her final thoughts before walking out the door. the music began and then all eyes were her -- today was the day everything would change.Ā
