I can speak for Ragatha: her toxic positivity does negatively impact others mixed with her people pleasing. She is incapable of being genuine because she is so concerned with the fallout of her true feelings. Her emotions outside of happy or accommodating are bad and if someone lashes out at her because of them, they are correct.
