I cannot articulate how stupid and useless it is to raise money to buy billboards for Taylor in Nashville. She is a multimillionaire. Everyone already knows what’s going on, so you likely aren’t raising awareness. You can bring awareness by posting about it. I’ve seen swifties now raise $2000 for billboards, and they want more. Please for the love of god instead of donating to something useless like billboards, donate your money to 1) charity of your choice, 2) a politician who has a history of fighting for artists rights, 3) an organization dedicated to helping musicians and artists, or 4) buying an up and coming artists music, especially one who has spoken up for Taylor. Your billboards do nothing, and I’ve already seen people on twitter rightfully upset that we are putting so much force with MONEY behind something useless when we could be doing something good.

with that, I’d like to highlight this list here because it has dozens of new, up-and-coming artists who have publicly spoken up for Taylor who you could be giving your money (and a listen) to.
