Grounded, warm, consistent, and accountable Love >> impulsive and fleeting chemistry and passion

Quiet Philanthropy >> Loud Gestures (I mean I like these too but it depends)

A healthy body >> A goal weight

Being privately financially free >> Publicly appearing rich

Every time I’ve fallen in love

I’ve had to fall deeper in love with myself

As the creator has blessed these hands to move mountains, to shape communities , to shift energies, to build wealth.

I rub my eyes away to the rose colored reflections that I look to.

I’ve always found contentment in the beauty that surrounds me, that’s within me, that comes out of me.

And the chaos.

It is beautiful.

She is beautiful.

Imperfect. But of sound mind and at peace.

I have learned to love my body a thousand times over. Even when she has fought so hard, and has lost her self over and over.

I have found her a place to land safely doing my absolute best to avoid the crash courses that I use to take her through. She has become resilient.

Bruised. But forever strong.

Every heavy heart that I’ve carried has helped me hold my head high.

Not in act, but in truth.

To be able to look back at the woman I was and fully embrace the woman I have become.

To be self aware, warm, decorated, dynamic… compliments I have cherished lately.

Worn on my sleeve like badges of honor.

Unashamed…

Coping… but trying to show myself the upmost grace.

Because when I look at her in the mirror and I see what I have been…

And who (She.LL) be.

I can’t help but be grateful… that at least.. I am still here.

And every day is an opportunity to learn to love all over again,
