some people you just get stuck on. keep coming back to. tell yourself a broken clock is right twice a day. tell yourself it’s worth the times they are good to you. it’s worth it for how it feels in their arms, on their lips, being the moan in their throat. tell yourself that you just cry easy, that it’s not as bad as it seems, that the breadcrumb love you’ve been forced to live on is a plain feast. that you’re not worth anything more, that the real world hurts. some people you know are going to break you again and you still let them in, because they’re special, in a way nobody else is.
