most people, even darkshippers, are not treating any of the dark topics with unnatural devotion, desire or reverence, but letās discuss those who do.
some people definitely treat dark topics with a certain desire. in that case, it is most likely a paraphilia.
68% of adults suffer from a paraphilia. around 5% of that 68% act on them. (i am in no way defending that 5%)
that is not a lot of people, is it? i think it would be obvious to conclude that there is no correlation between ādark desiresā and acting on them. therefore, no harm.

fiction definitely effects reality, but it only effects how we feel- not how we act. antis love to use a purposefully vague term. they never give the whole truth.
saying fiction effects how we ACT destroys accountability on individuals who do act on it. it throws the accountability onto the person who made the media they consumed.
