She made a choice back for the Rep tour with the verified fan program there - and did it work? YES. …a little too well for a company that thrives off ticketing fees and exorbitant ticket prices (ergo, fees on those prices). Why wasn’t that program reinstated for eras tour? One can wonder.

Right now, Taylor is in an agreement with ticketmaster for her tour. She has a legal, binding contract with that company that is making this tour possible. Her speaking out against that company puts all of those plans, months and months of work, in jeopardy. Right now, before general sales on Friday, her and her team are in legal and business HELL. Bound by contracts with a system that takes advantage of adoring fans. Her lawyers are NOT resting right now, and I genuinely believe taylor isn’t either.

In order to see us again, she had to make a deal with the devil. And, if she’s anything like she’s shown us in the past, she’s fighting for us right now. She fought for musicians with the streaming platforms. She fought for people to own their work. I cannot imagine a Taylor that is sitting with a smile on her face. I can imagine she’s feeling how a lot of us are - she’s *pissed* and absolutely heartbroken so many of her fans were treated this way.
