i just love staring at what i've written and despising every word there is on the page and feeling anxiety at the mere thought of writing

zuko is arthur in a prince with a shitty father and a debilitating sense of duty and honor way and he is merlin in a magic and golden eyes and having a connection to dragons way and sokka is arthur in a charming and extremely loyal boy who starts off as a bit of an asshole way and he is merlin in having their first love die in their arms and become a god-like being way and katara is gwen in a kind and compassionate and absolutely badass way and aang is lancelot in a head over heels in love with the girl he loves way and he is merlin in all-powerful being who is also the last of his kind way and toph is gwaine in a high-born who abandons their position to pave their own path in life way and iroh is gaius in an acting as a father figure and a mentor but not to everyone who needs him way and azula is morgana in so many ways it's not actually funny

wrote almost 10k words of a fic in a week and i'm not even halfway done based on the rough plan i have and i both have fun writing it and viscerally dislike every sentence i put on the page and i don't even know if i finish it
