it was an odd day - breakfast for dinner, eggs on film and QR codes that I messed up on a poster and then have to reprint and cut them up and paste them over the old ones. It was unnecessary but I liked the task, kind of glad the digital failed. Before the semester starts I am living up to my goals of reading more fiction every week and watching new films on the weekend. This week - Being Cyrus, the eggs are from it.

From a few days back when I was writing an essay before my trip to prague to meet friends. Loved the time I was spending in the library, this is my favorite spot. I also worked a bit on the Europe city train. The scenery was so pretty and I love working on the train, a little less than I like staring out the window and listening to songs.

The smell of freshly cut grass is like a drug.

To add, I also had phone calls from family and friends, and some of the sweetest messages I will ever receive. Felt overwhelmed but loved it.

Also I almost cried at my presentation today. I am probably starting my periods soon and the text was so horribly sad.

Yesterday was a beautiful day. went swimming after class and was able to write a language exam after that. To celebrate the exam went cycling along the river and ended the day with good food. I am in love with cycling and the fact I can do it next to a lake makes my heart weep.

One of the warmest days here but couldn't resist going out mid-morning for a walk in the balmy sun. Also saw someone help a rescue duck into the water. Chatted in a cafe with a friend and on the way from campus was greeted by these gorgeous flowers. Summer is looking good.
