“I’m going to guess you’re bored.” The other usually was, but even now such a reason could be false. It was Sonic, after all. There were a million and one stupid reasons for everything in Shadow’s eyes.

Shadow was spot on. The blue hedgehog was pretty bored. It was a slow day, and he had spent a majority of it just running around (as usual). And once in a blue moon, he did like company. Usually it was his best friend, Tails, that he went to go hang out with; but he was busy. So, it just happened to be Shadow today who was the one he had picked. "Bored?" He repeated, looking offended-- jokingly, of course. "Me? Pffftt." Waving one hand dismissively he shifted his weight to one side, rolling his eyes. "Nah. Really, I just wanted to say hey!"

And god only knew when it came to Sonic, annoying him to no end, as if on purpose to grind his gears or drive him up a wall or something along those lines. He hated it, of course, just as he did many things. But oddly enough Sonic was one of those more… welcomed annoyances. A forced tolerance, sure, but it was still there.

"What? Can't I just say hi without havin' a reason?" He questioned, draping one of his arms lazily over the darker one's shoulders. It was a friendly gesture, but he had an odd gut feeling that the other would have preferred that he didn't touch him at all. Naturally, he ignored the rational part of his mind at the moment.

*ears flatten* You.

"You look happy to see me. Understandably, though. I'm pretty awesome-- I'd be happy to see me, too."
