A society that tolerates prostitution is an inhumane society. Not only are the direct victims (those who are trafficked and brought) harmed but women and children as a whole. As long as one dominant group (men) can buy the body of another, women will all be the “purchaseable sex”.

My heart breaks when I think of a world without the constant threat of men because I know we’ll never have it. Imagine walking the streets, the woods, anywhere freely at night, watching the stars wherever you want, enjoying the night air, the night atmosphere. Imagine sunbathing or undressing or going swimming anywhere you want without a single worry about men stumbling upon you. Imagine a world where women spend their entire lives roaming the world wherever and whenever they please without a drop of shame or fear. I hate that I’ll never see that world. I hate that I’ll never be truly safe, truly free.
