      “   hva   ?   “  it’s   more   of   a   rhetorical   what   than   one   of   curiosity  despite   the   arch   of   his   brows   that   accompanies   it   .   chris   knows   exactly   what   he’s   doing   ,   it’s   become   something   of   a   routine   .   so   much   so   that   it   was   bound   to   give   one   of   them   whiplash   eventually   .   get   drunk   (   or   not   so   drunk   )   ,   find   the   most   secretive   of   places   ,   hook   up   ,   pretend   it   never   happened   .  (    wash   ,   rinse   ,   repeat   .   )  how   many   more   times   could   they   do   this   before   chris   wanted   it   to   happen   when   he   wasn’t   wasted  off   of  his   ass  ?   answer   :   he   could  feel  it   happening   and   it   terrified   him   .   this   wasn’t    who   he   was   .   .   .   or   that’s   what   he   could   keep   telling   himself   until   it   became   true   .   he   doesn’t   let   his   eyes   falter   from   isak   despite  the   urge   to   look   everywhere   else   and   his   voice   doesn’t   falter   .    “   did   you   think   we   were   boyfriends   now   ?   we’re   not   .   you   and   i   both   made   it   pretty   clear   that   we   shouldn’t   speak   to   each   other   here   .  “   there’s   a   harshness   in   his   tone   that’s   used   with   the   intent   of   pushing   isak   away   that   much   more   and   his   jaw   sets   .   “   du   bør   slutte   å   la   alt   gå   til   hodet    ditt   .   “

     the   familiar   ache   of   a   run   resides   deep   within   meg’s   lungs   and   the   soles   of   her   feet   - - -   something   she   had   long   since   grown   accustomed   to   in   this   particular   hell   .   running   was   what   she   was   best   at   ,   the   only   thing   she   knew   without   a   doubt   that   she   could   do   .   keep   whichever   asshole   it’d   be   busy   while   everyone   else   got   shit   done   ,   get   everyone   out   alive  even  if   it   meant   her   own   demise .   the   majority   of   them   had   learned   her   tactics   ,   however   ,   and   most   of   them   would   find   an   easier   target   .   .   .   which   is   exactly   how   claudette’s   screams   could   be   heard   throughout   the   realm   ,   body   hanging   from   one   of   the   various   hooks   scattered   across   the   farm   .   (   it’d   never   not  make   meg’s   stomach   twist   into   a   thousand   knots   .   )   “   look   ,  dude    ,   if   you   have   a   death   wish   ,   you   can   go   back   .   “   meg   starts   with   a   certain   harshness   that   leaves   a   bitter   taste   in   her   mouth   and   causes   lips   to   purse   both   in   contemplation   and   to   steady   her   breathing   .   she   knew   the   new   guy   had   a   point   -  -  -   they   couldn’t   leave   her   behind  .   “   shit   .  “   she   breathes  out   and   straightens   her   posture   .   “   i’ll  keep   him   distracted   if   you   can   get   her   ,   but   we   have   to   be   quick   .   think   you   can   handle   that   ?   “

    laughter   flows  freely   from   cordelia’s   lips   almost   instantly   with   a   shake   of   her   head   to   accompany   it   .  the   dramatics   make   the   situation   far   more   amusing   than   what   it   truly   was   .   she   would   never   ask   any   of   her   girls   to   do   anything   that   she   wasn’t   sure   they   could   ,   especially   not    zoe   .   “   do   i   seem   like   the   person   who   would   ask   you   to   do   something   i   wasn’t   certain   you’d   be   able   to   ?   “   cordelia   asks   with   a   perk   of   her   brows   ,   eyeing   the   younger   girl   with   genuine   curiosity   .   “   if   you   feel   as   if   you   can’t   perform   the   spell   ,   just   say   so   .   i   won’t   force   you   ----   but   i   have   faith   in   you   ,   zoe   .   you   should   too   .   “
