Munich // December 2015 I spent a week visiting art galleries, museums and Christmas markets. There is so much to see in this beautiful city and lots of different beers, food and glühwein to try!

Stunning scenery at Loch Muick and incredible to see so many deer roaming around!

Another highlight was Torre de Belem, despite the huge queues, it was a beautiful place to visit!

Lisbon // August 2014

Spent one week in Lisbon enjoying the lovely weather, beaches and awesome food! There were lots of little side streets to explore, where you could find stunning tile covered buildings and quirky bars.

While up north in Cromarty earlier this month I managed to get some shots  of dolphins out in the water. Such a beautiful part of Scotland I hadn't visited visited before...hopefully get back there soon!

Krakow // September 2013

During my time at the D&AD New Blood exhibition, I had time to explore London and photograph some street art.

Amazing projections by artist Felice Varini. Objects are stenciled on using projectors to cast images onto the building. The perspective of the image changes as the viewer moves around the space, altering the viewing and how the piece is perceived. This technique could be harnessed and adapted for different buildings, in different cities as a way to alter the aesthetic.

Great website for art innovations and quirky ideas!

A site that highlights various city billboards that have been altered and subverted. Different meanings are given to messages and images that saturate our city streets, spreading ideas of over consumption, greed etc.

I love this minimalist style Noma Bar uses in illustrations. Great use of limited colour palette. The colour makes the image so powerful highlighting the two images hidden within. Bold, vivid illustrations are styles that influence my work a lot.
