Okay very true ! I’ve always liked the idea that Santana’s kind of a womanizer, but in canon, player Santana really makes ZERO sense

She could never truly express her feelings for Brittany, and she kind of panicked at the fact that Brittany could ever really be into her romantically (not just sexually), and her gay panic with Dani was off the charts. She can’t even flirt properly with a coworker, why are we supposed to believe that she can casually coax women at the bar into her bed ??

As for your Quinntana thing, you’re right. Santana couldn’t even pick up on the signs that her best friend was very clearly trying to sleep with her (well, sort of)
