Hello, Everyone!Β
I have multiple announcements, but Iβll start with the biggest one first.
I wanted to give some news that has been a long time coming, but never knew what was the right moment to say it. Now, I feel like it is a good time (and also gives me the opportunity to tell all of you βthank youβ for your support over the years.)Β
A little over two years ago I made an announcement regarding a change in my life. I graduated college and got my dream job right out of the gate! It is something I will feel forever blessed for, and words still canβt express the joy I feel when I get to work at the job where I have met and worked with so many talented people.Β
So, what was the dream job? I am now a Quest Designer at Bethesda Game Studios.Β
I was hired in April of 2024, and since then I have been able to release work for Starfield (if you played through Trackers Alliance or Terran Armada you may have run into my work at some point.)
Even now, Iβm still working on exciting things and canβt wait to see what the future holds.Β
With this, I want to give all of you the biggest βthank youβ for all the support you all have given me across the years. I started modding because I wanted to make a silly and outspoken follower, and now I have a job I never expected. Without the outpouring support and love for my mods, I donβt know if I would be where I am today.Β
With that out of the way, I ask myself βwhat now?βΒ
While Iβve been quiet as I got accustomed to my job, I found myself wanting to return to the wonderful community I had been a part of for so long.Β
With this return, I plan to be more active on the following socials:
These socials will be focused on me being a part of the community as a fan of Skyrim and mod making, not as a mod author. However, still feel free to ask me questions regarding my mods.Β
As I make this shift to my social media accounts I have additional information on how my Discord, Tumblr, and YouTube presence will be changing.Β
First, Discord:
Recently I limited the Sidekicks of Tamriel discord to a single channel for bug issues. This is so there would be less to monitor and focus my attention on a new discord server that instead will be focused on gaming as a whole instead of Sidekicks of Tamriel. While the SOT server will remain open to all ages, this new server Iβve made, Rabbittβs Liminal Lighthouse, will be 18+.Β

Second, Tumblr:Β
Like my Discord, I will be making a second space on Tumblr. This new blog will be dedicated to asking questions about me, my mods, or any other topics. I am making this ask blog because I will be changing my main blog to be a space where I will talk about whatever and will add a disclaimer for minors to not interact. If you are a minor and currently follow my Tumblr, I ask you unfollow my main and instead follow my new ask blog (https://www.tumblr.com/blog/rabbittwinriasks ) where I will answer all asks there and reblog content from my main blog that is appropriate.Β
All asks for me should be sent to this blog and asks will be turned off on my main.
And Finally, YouTube:
While I have no intentions of currently returning to making mods, as a thank you to this community, I am hoping to start a YouTube series dedicated to teaching how to make mods for Skyrim.
The first topic I want to cover is how to get Skyrimβs Ceation Kit ready to make mods, and then one on how to make a basic quest (and later redo some old tutorials I made.)Β
If you have suggestions on tutorials for me to make, or topics in Skyrimβs creation kit you would like to see covered, donβt hesitate to send them my way on Discord, Tumblr, and Twitter.Β

This announcement has been dragging long enough, so I leave it with two final remarks. One, I ask that you donβt ask me questions about my job. Questions on how I got it are fine (as in how I got into writing for games,) but questions about my job, Bethesda, or what Iβm working on are not something I wish to answer.Β

Rudolph Van Ritchen is a monster hunter known far and wide in Barovia throughout the centuries. However, who he is truly isn't known.
In reality, Rudolph is the long dead brother of the Vampire Lord, Strahd Von Zarovich, Sergei. Since his death, Rudolph has been reincarnated time and time again. Unaware of his origins until he reaches adulthood in each lifetime. It is then all the memories of all his past lives come rushing back. Since then the man has given up on any morals or relationships he may have had if it means killing his brother and freeing his old friends once and for all. (In the campaign the PC party are the reincarnated souls of an old friend group of Strahd's.)
(Sergei (Young Adult) β‘οΈ Rudolph (now))
Rudolph isn't the sweet prince he was long ago. Now he is cold and calculating. He tries to bury any relationships, care, morals, or doubts he may have, cause in the end, all that matters is freedom from Strahd. When things go wrong, Rudolph is prone to outbursts and sending his anger to anyone nearby.
(Tbf, the guy in this picture deserved it. But Rudolph used the man to make his sister come to Barovia, which he would later realize is the reincarnated soul of an old friend. Even though he feels guilty for what he did, he still treats her with distrust and assumes she is too weak to surivive Barovia.)
Despite all this, Rudolph still holds some attributes that he had as the awkward prince. When not stressing about his situation, Rudolph adores collecting and studying marine life. He can get embarrassed easily, and has a love of music.
This love of music, and needing to sneak around Barovia, caused him to create a disguise by the name of Rictavio. While it may seem like Rictavio is nothing but a way to sneak about, in reality Rudolph enjoys his role as the bard. To him, it's those moments he can escape his situation and be someone truly free; even if it's just for a moment.

So I don't know if im doing a big dumb, and im hope im right with you being the mod author for Caryalind Thallery. But if I read it right he should have conversations with Kaidan? Specifically the Revoiced version of him.
Long story short lol it's not working for me. I dunno if I need to like download a patch im missing or if it's just not avaliable on the console? Or if I need to reach a certain point for them to do so?
I have Caryalind below Kaidan in the load order, he was originally above and it still didnt work. And I see something about using his dialogue to either befriend or romance Kaidan? I don't see that.
Im figuring im doing something dumb on my end so I hope im in the right place, and that this long ramble makes sense, how do I fix this if at all?
Also im loving Caryalind from the second I met him in game. I wish I had heard about him sooner βΊοΈ
You're all good! The interactions won't work due to them only working with the OG kaidan. They don't work with the the revoiced project. However, the team there has my blessing if they wish to add those interactions in the future of their development.

If I can ramble about Khash 'what if's for a moment:
Looking back on Khash stuff, if there was one change I had planned to make and wished I could have gotten in, it was that Khash already learned reading and loved it. In fact, I had planned in her update (before I stepped away) that she was incredibly smart, just didnt have the environment to hone it (academic wise, Khash was always smart in other fields.)
I think in the mod she talks about Marlok going into the Imperial City from time to time. One change I wanted was that he would go to buy her books, and during that time he met someone (that would have been implied to have been romantically interested in Marlok) and spoke with her about Khash. This lady would be impressed by Khash's description and promised to put a good word for her at a school in High Rock she had connections with.
Before, I don't think I had a reason Khash and Marlok traveled to Skyrim except that they were on the run. (And tbf, thats what Marlok would have told Khash.)
With these changes it was gonna be Marlok taking Khash to that school. If they had made it, the two would have lived a normal life for once. Khash would finally grow up in a simple, safe environment.
