Never too old for Pokémon and Tamagotchis

Who saw this coming? In traditional Bandai America fashion Digimon’s are just being released with no official announcement, but we’ve come to expect that; right? It appears that the Digimon Digital Monster V2, that was released in Japan back in December of 2019 is making its way out of Japan.

The V2 features new transparent shell designs, characters, an improved map system, and much much more. It will have identical programming to the Japanese counterpart.

Amazon US, and EBGames in Australia have released pre-orders for the new device. EBGames has the release date set for February 24th, 2020, but its anyones guess as an official announcement from Bandai America has yet to be made.

The London Toy Fair, the largest toy trade show in London is an opportunity for companies to show off their latest toys for the new year, and Bandai UK did just that. Bandai UK was showing off the PAC-MAN Tamagotchi at their booth hours before the official announcement was made by Bandai America!

Visitors of the booth were able to get their hands on the yet-to-be revealed device. Both the yellow and black color shells and the PAC-MAN silicone case were available to see in person. The devices were even up and running and fully functional.
