I don’t understand why everyone thinks Beyond is some crazy psychopath. He already knew that the people he killed were going to die that day. At least he drugged them before killing them; they died more peacefully that way than what the alternative might have been. To me, that seems more humane for the victim, maybe not their families, but still. Beyond would constantly be able to tell when people are going to die. That can mess a person up, but I don’t think he was crazy, just curious or bored. He did have an unhealthy obsession with beating L, but he never killed anyone who wasn’t already going to die. He had at least some amount of humanity in him. The only thing, to me, which might lead me to believe he was insane was his attempt at suicide. This could also have been the result of depressioin fueled by his inferiority complex and constantly seeing the lifespans of those around him. Beyond is not as crazy as the fandom makes him out to be, in my opinion. I think he was just alone, bored, and tired of being second.
