So I saw a post calling for more non-angry Spot. So without further ado, a whole headcanon list devoted to non-angry Spot:
He’s the little spoon. He’s at his most relaxed then, he’s safe and protected in Race’s arms, and he can let his worries fade away.
An amazing and loving boyfriend. He’s a little overprotective by nature, but he really tries his hardest to not be controlling.
I personally have this headcanon that Spot and Katherine are pretty evenly matched in a philosophical debate but can’t agree on ANY of it, so I love the idea of them dwelling on the perfect rebuttal for when Spot visits.
Has a soft spot for dogs. Give him a puppy and he becomes a boy again.
Is easily flustered when people compliment him on his skills [get your mind out of the gutter].
Drinks respecting women juice and Will Not Hesitate to defend women from creeps.
Is actually quite good at facing his feelings (internally), but not at communicating them.
Is a total lightweight, and is a reckless but affectionate drunk, and not an angry drunk at all; In fact, he’s less tense.
Spot never half-asses a project. He hates not putting forth his best effort.
He gets embarrassed when people see the way he loses his cool during an anxiety attack, but he’s learning to trust them
Sometimes he bites off more than he can chew and gets overwhelmed, and sometimes gets panic attacks.
Some of the people that he trusts are Race, Davey, and Crutchie, and surprisingly, Jack.
Because he and Jack have been rivals? friends? frenemies? forever. And he knows Jack well enough to know that Jack would never use a panic attack against someone.
Really close with Davey and will 100% throw down for him.
