(storytime!) i didn’t think i’d be able to make it to the show to as literally two weeks ago i was being rushed into hospital with a suspected blood clot. after so many hospital appointments, emergency physiotherapy and a lot of positive thinking- i made it!!!! i thought this deserved a shoutout because i can’t believe i made it!!! and i’m so proud of myself for it. small miracles can happen!!!!💚

the cast were phenomenal, the set was beautiful and the atmosphere of the theatre was insane. it was the most fun i’d had seeing a show in a very long time!! i’m so so glad i got to see it and i couldn’t recommend it enough!!🪲🪲💚💚

anyway, did Stray and Specs interact with each other at all through out the show? bc i knew Imogen and Samuel are siblings, and i heard it was cannon Stray and Specs were siblings also.

stray (and all the girl newsies) only showed up from brooklyns here onwards so there weren’t many chances for them to interact. they always did a fun lil dance together after their bows if i remember right! i’m pretty sure i remember them hugging too. specs also turns around and gives stray a smile when it’s announced that they won the strike.

to my knowledge that was about it! they’re also not siblings irl- just share the same last name! i think because of that they decided their characters would be siblings!!

and yeah i loved mike a lot 🩷🩷🩷
