may you always feel at ease in your body. may your life be filled with laughter, love and excitement. may your voice be heard and your opinions listened to. may your ideas be considered, your questions be answered and your wishes fulfilled. may your home comfort you and keep you safe. may your loved ones prosper, both by your side and in their own lived. may your heart be looked after and your soul comforted. may you always, constantly feel that you are loved, appreciated, respected and protected.

the world isn’t so bad. it has you in it, after all.

forgive yourself. forgive yourself for all the versions you couldn't become. forgive yourself for the wrong things you said. forgive yourself for not knowing any better at certain point of your life. for fucking things up so much that the grief still haunts you. forgive yourself for the darker and shadowed parts of you. you have to learn to integrate all parts of you, even the ones you desperately want to disown. it'll be alright.

the most worthwhile things are going to take time and patience and effort. then the majority will have pauses and setbacks. but they are still worthwhile things.

don’t be embarrassed that little joys take up a lot of space in your heart. sometimes they’re the most important things there are in your life, and deserve your attention

you deserve the love you crave, not the love you settle for

live. live messy and vibrant and warm and wholeheartedly. dare to embrace the parts of yourself that are confusing and complex and don’t come in pretty packages. let yourself accept the love and light you engulf others in. live and live unapologetically as yourself, the battered, bruised and muddled parts included.
