firstly - for gif icons, i've recently discovered that i actually prefer to not even run any sharpening or denoise settings. i feel that running sharpening settings on gif icons gives them a strange look - but maybe i was adding too much. so, minimal amounts (really, just a smidge!) or none at all.

secondly - for bigger gifs, the ones that i post on my blog actively, all change. i try to give an even balance of sharpening and denoise and don't put a lot! i'll give you an examples of settings i've used in the past below, try them and see how it works out for you!

but generally i use Finesharp, KNLM.
