one time in sophomore year of high school we had a substitute in history class. he'd been around subbing for spanish in the past. he was my favorite sub, he was a linguist and i loved talking to him about it, since he was the only person i could talk to that also knew their shit. anyway when i came in to the history class, i saw that for whatever reason he had written a singular interrobang on the whiteboard. i went "is that an interrobang?" because, you know, kinda rare to see interrobangs in the wild. he said yes. i was like wow cool but i was too socially inept to inquire further. i never saw him again
