Finally watching twst’s anime version and my god does it do a good job of making Yuuken (and thus, any other Yuus from manga or the novels) actually feel like a rounded character.

Game obviously doesn’t pay much attention to it,while mangas do give Yuus backstories and designs, when animated Yuuken actually does feel like a lost teenager who is away from his family and friends. I mean look at all the club scenes animated before he got sent to Twst world 😕😕😕 so many of his clubmates looks up to him RIGHT when it was the time before the big event.

I think this is what people should do with isekais tbh,, have 1-2 episodes/5 chapters even of mc’s original world and then BAM isekai… would feel more tragic/crazyy
