I hate how Pink's character is just dumbed down to sexual jokes about her now. Shes not taken seriously AT ALL by the fandom

i know its all just jokes but I really fucking hate that one joke that came from the tea break scene, where Susie says fhat Kris flirts with everyone and FOR SOME REASON?? people act like Kris WANTED to date Pink and project their gooner fantasies on them

I ranted about it to my friends how this dynamic is not consensual AT ALL. The mew mew side of Pink is the one that wants to date the player, but the ghost DOES NOT want it. Its the same with the soul and Kris

I get that this is nothing new, but from what I've seen, the deltarune fandom has a HORRIBLE problem with dumbing characters down to one trope, even if its a "joke" it still heavily ruins a character and their reputation, it happened to Papyrus and Sans back in undertale 😭(although I do give the undertale fandom more leeway because like. most of the fandom were cringy children back then (MYSELF INCLUDED LOL) but a majority of the deltarune fanbase are adults now)

I feel like this also shows the problem that the fandom has where they project themselves onto Kris and act like theyre a self-insert when theyre not. You aren't Kris. Unless youre like. a Kris kinnie i guess. shoutout to children of divorceAM I STUPID???????? AM I TAKING JOKES TOO SERIOUSLY???????????? DO I NEED TO SHUT UP??????????????

i was originally gonna put a whole long detailed rant about things that I liked and disliked about the dlc but it became too long and,,,, ranty for my liking so I deleted it, maybe I'll show it some other time idk , im relatively new to playing the pokemon games (ive loved the cards and movies and shows since I was little but I never could play any of the games, ive always wanted sun and moon though) so I just doubted if I could like... correctly criticize anything idk

TL;DR, its a ??? 6.5/10..? I liked it but some parts rubbed me the wrong way, especially when relating to Kieran, my favorite parts were the beginning of the teal mask becayse it reminded me of battling Hop and his dumb sheep (/pos) from Sword and Shield

im just glad they didnt play ed sheeran at the end of the dlc im sorry WHY DID THEY DO THAT??? WAS IT ONLY FOR AMERICAN LOCALIZATIKNS OR WHATEVER OR????? THEY HAD TOBY RADIATION FOX BUT THEY CHOOSE ED SHEERAN TO DO THE END CREDIT SONG😭😭😭😭 ok that's it

oh yeah um update!! 6/10, I finished the teal mask and I did the whole champion stuff in blueberry :) I have a lot of mixed opinions on the dlc so far but I still think hes rlly cute (even though he looks like a peeled onion now) I'll probably talk about in my next post because ive been trying to work on some more pokemon art
