a user by the name of @lostnbetween is reposting art straight from tumblr art pages (and other sources perhaps) without credit. The art they are reposting revolves around gothic/dark/horror/pop surreal themes, so if you create this type of content, please be on the lookout. I have already directly alerted one of the artists whose work I have recognized.

As for the user/account I am creating this post about, or anyone who is doing something similiar, if you happen to stumble onto these words, hear me out - it's all fine and well to enjoy a genre of art and want to spread your enjoyment of it, but not taking the simple 3 minutes of time to credit those you take content from is both shockingly lazy and hurtful, especially considering many of these artists create and share in the first place to support themselves, whether financially or even as a way of therapy. This shit is hurtful. It may seem sufficient to you that at least there is some type of signature in soooome of the work you've reposted, but for an alarming deal of what I've seen, there is no sufficient identification given and that is undeniably an issue. It's mindlessly half-assed. While I scrolled down your blog, I found many drawings that I loved and it pissed me off tremendously that I had no easy way of finding out what lovely mind created them. There is a thoughtful, kind art blog who I've seen take the time to RB and add credit (thank you) to one of your posts but I acknowledge that not everyone will do that and it is likely that by now many pieces of hard work have gone uncredited. I can see that your blog already has a bit of traction, and I want to make you aware that if you truly love this art as you claim to, you will respect those who brought it into existence without question. You will take those extra 3 minutes rather than downloading, cropping and uploading, and seeing how much traction and popularity you get.

Syria was under sanctions making it complicated to even attend, and on top of that were embroiled in intense civil warfare and not in a great position to make a commitment like that. They didn't​ disagree with it, but were never involved with the deal in the first place.

Nicaragua actually felt that the Paris agreement was not strict enough, arguing that they didn’t want to be complicit in a voluntary effort that didn’t properly allocate the responsibility to large countries for being the ones who poisoned the environment in the first place, nor impose a punishment on anyone failing to comply with the standards. Nicaragua is one of the countries that’s most affected by climate change but least responsible, and they felt that wasn’t fairly reflected in the accord.
