Currently working on a companion piece for this of Grace from PHM! Obviously Simon is the “lamb to the slaughter.” So that would make Grace a “fox on the run” if we’re talking about the symbolism here.

Not entirely happy with the way the eyes closing and tear falling turned out. Still though, I will be moving on to drawing the characters listed in order of appearance! Hopefully I don’t get burned out halfway through drawing all of these characters. Also let me know if I missed anyone important to buck, as I said earlier: my context for 911 is ao3 and that’s basically it. I have never watched a full episode so :”)

Small update: I have animated him in my latest post teehee (still a wip tho)

I know this isn’t my usual type of post (not iron lung, sorry peeps) but I’ve been hyperfixating on the 911 series! All of my knowledge of the show basically comes from ao3 and of the few clips I’ve seen online. Last week’s episode made me sad (iykyk) and I wanted to do a study of the scene above! I’m thinking of animating this piece to have him closing his eyes, and then it cuts to his 118 family, but we shall see if motivation holds long enough for me to draw all that. This took roughly 10 hours according to my procreate app.

Tried my hand at writing poetry for the first time, I think it turned out pretty good. I’m sharing it along with the same art as my last post. This poem was heavily inspired by a comment I had gotten from a user on my tiktok who said “Behind the intensity of the circumstances, simon for sure had a deeply human heart.”

I know I asked earlier about where I could make my art into a print for just myself BUT I’ve seen some of your reblogs guys! Some of you saying about how you would buy this as a poster! Now I think I’m ready to make that happen! Not only for me but for you! I’ve never sold anything in my life, never opened a shop, or had people genuinely interested in my art (besides my irl family, friends but that’s another story) enough to want to buy it, until now! So it’s a little intimidating because I don’t know WHERE to start. If anyone has a tips about how to open/run/work a shop or even where to open a shop such as which site to use that would be amazing! For starters I’ve thought about redbubble and maybe inprint but idk copyright laws with material like iron lung if it would taken down?? Also to add I don’t have much of a following yet but I appreciate all of you who have decided to stick around for my art. For that I want to pay it back and give you guys something. Thanks! 🫶
