In my mind Ryland was the brother who their father had seconds from death because he definitely had a bit of a temper and was thought of as the runt.
Either way, Ryland’s head is in the bathtub when suddenly his father’s grip loosens and he falls over. Ryland sits up coughing and wheezing for air while Court is rushing to his side. I imagine Colt had already called the police and now Court is like “shit, change of plans” because he just killed a man and that’s definitely a crime so they decide to run away, or at least try. After some rushed packing they run for a good few hours and somehow survive on their own for a couple days. Until the police do find them, dirty, tired, but together. Court puts up a violent fight which only makes the police more certain he’s dangerous so they separate the twins from him. Court is arrested for kidnapping and murder while the twins are put in the foster system

Okay okay, unrelated but imagine a movie about like Dionysus (slipping into madness, acting, partying, etc) but every few scenes his actor changes, always a jarringly recognisable change with all well known actors/youtubers/singers, but it’s not brought up at all and it’s completely irrelevant to the story but every so often there’s a small joke about it like…

Okay okay the thing with Starstruck is that it has to be toxic. At least in my mind.
Because Tom Ryder is not a good person, he’s narcissistic and he takes what he wants. Ryland Grace is… sort of a coward. And he’s really bad at reading people.. like not realising he’s the second in command after going to several important meetings level of bad. My idea is that Grace is unaware that he’s on the aroace spectrum when he dates Tom. And Tom can be a bit pushy. Do you see where I’m going with this?
So yea, Grace doesn’t understand why he doesn’t want to keep going so he just deals with it until he finds out about Tom’s well.. attempted murder of his twin. And only then does he break it off.
Grace only realises much later, when he’s with Simon who asks for explicit consent before anything sexual, that he just doesn’t feel arousal as often if at all.
When I open up my brain to see what critters are messing around in there but all I see is Ryan Gosling and Markiplier in several different fonts
