Thinking about Martin and internalized ableism.

Martin struggling with fatigue, brain fog and pain post Lonely and feeling awful for the days he can’t help Jon.

Convincing himself he’s terrible and awful because certain things completely drain his energy and he has to ask Jon to do it.

He’s dealt with disability before and knows how to handle it in other people but is terrified when he has to face his own challenges and disabilities because he’s scared of making others feel obligated and burdened with him.

Martin sobbing into Jon’s arms about how terrible he feels being unable to do things and feeling a crushing guilt that he both asks for help but also makes Jon hold him while he cries.

Martin being so used to caretaking for others that he doesn’t know how to cope now that he’s the one who needs to be cared for.

Jon holding his hand through the whole process because he understands how uncomfortable the switch is of being fine to constant exhaustion and pain

Thinking about this again because im in so much pain and martin should suffer for it
