"Do you have change for the vending machine?" (Collage!au - Admya)
Quill had been cooped up in the inexplicably large space left behind the vending machine in the L-shaped corner at the end of the hall. His roommate and his girlfriend had been going at it for a while in their dorm, and Quill had not wanted to hear that, so he’d high-tailed it out of there with a book and had been slouched over it for the past hour, reading with the light of his phone.
When he heard someone talking, he looked up from his book and squinted blearily at the white-haired young woman in front of him with an inwards sigh. He had picked this place due to the fact that this part of the hall was empty, and he was hidden. He wasn’t exactly happy to be caught with unkempt hair and stained leggings.
“What’d you say?”
Admya cocked a brow and chewed on the inside of her lower lip, tilting her head and leaning slightly to the side with her notes binder held close to her chest from her night classes as she peered at the disheveled student wedged in the space behind the vending machine, he looked liked he’d been there for hours and most likely not by choice
“Uhhhh…. change.. ” she shook her head and furrowed her brow a bit, puzzled “for the vending machine” the white blond took in a breath and opened her mouth to speak again, pausing for a moment “nevermind, are you..” she gestured to the blond “..okay?”
Quill hummed vaguely and uncrossed his legs, shoving his hand in his pocket and pulling out a handle of quarters. “I have to finish this book by tomorrow so I chugged a Redbull. My roommate is screwing his girlfriend in our dorm. ” He handed the quarters to her, and then muttered as an afterthought, “Don’t buy the Poptarts. They’re stale as fuck.”
The white blond chuckled and gave a small scoff, the sound apparently playful by the way she gave a lopsided grin to the boy as he began to fish out some coins from his pockets “Well, that sounds at least the tiniest bit interesting, did they at least put a sock on the door?” Admya asked as she shifted her binder to one hand and leaned into the space behind the vending machine, holding her hand out so the other could drop the coins into her palm “Ah- looks like it’s a bag of chips for dinner again then” she muttered with a small shrug as she moved back to the front of the machine and began placing quarters inside “What book you reading? Seems like you’ve been here for a while so either you didnt want to read it or you have sever procrastination” she continued grinning as she pushed a few buttons
“Interesting is not the word I’d use,” Quill’s lip curled, “They put panties on the door.” He watched as the girl put coins in the machine and blinked in realization. “Oh, shit. I haven’t eaten since last night,” he frowned and managed to wrangle out a crinkled dollar bill and a few more quarters out of his pockets. “I guess chips are dinner for me too,” he let his book slide to the floor as he hopped onto his feet and stretched out. At the girl’s question, he snorted, “I’m reading Thus Spake Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche, in between staring off into space in what I’m sure is microsleep. Who woulda thought I can’t function purely on Redbull?”

Inktober day 4, Midnight Snack

“Hahaha, looks like I’m not eating tonight… Just spent what little money I had on notebooks.” (stardusthearts-rp Antiono @ Quill)
Quill scowled from his slouched position over the desk, “And you come into my dorm saying that, as if you think I’m not going to feed you.” He scribbled a few more indecipherable words into one of his notebooks before stretching and looking up at Antonio. “How are you, darling?”
Antonio leaned into the soft affection. “I’m sorry, Papí. I just didn’t want to worry you.” He looked up and smiled a little at his boyfriend. “You have so many other things to worry about…”
“I like having to worry about you. Either way, I’d be less concerned knowing you’re eating actual meals,” Quill teased. “Just try and tell me next time, please?” He pulled Toni over to his bed. “How about you stay over and we watch a movie or something?”
Antonio immediately curled up next to Quill, situating himself in the familiar crevice under his shoulder. He nodded with a smile. “Should we put up the Cock Sock?” He laughed a bit as he referred to the sock that they left hanging on Quill’s door knob whenever Toni stayed the night. It was to kept Quill’s roommate, Wesley, out of any awkward encounters.
Quill raised an eyebrow and grinned, “I don’t know, babe, should we put up the Cock Sock?”
Antonio felt himself blushing as he smiled. “It might best. You never know what could happen.” He pulled a very serious face, “It’s always better to be prepared.”
Quill adapted his serious face, “You’re right,” he cleared his through very seriously and picked up a striped sock from an open drawer in his nightstand. He handed the sock to Toni. “Wanna do the honors?” he smirked.
Antonio jumped up and ran to the door, opening it. As he placed the sock on the handle, he saw Wesley walking down the hall toward him. “Sorry, Wes! Go hang with Gale!” He giggled and shut the door, cutting off Wes’ reply. He leaped back into the bed and made grabby hands to Quill. “Cuddles!”
Quill laughed airily as Antonio came running in, pulling him into a hug and kissing his cheek. “So what are we watching tonight?”
Eliza growls under her breath, blood drips from her mouth and covers her hands, "Shit, shit, shit" she kicks at the closest object to her, unfazed by the loud crash. "Idiot" she hisses between fangs, her hunger long forgot. Her breathing is heavy for a moment, hands clenching and loosening over and over, as she tries to control her anger. She snaps her attention back to the body half-hidden, eyes shifting into a glare, as if it was the corpses fault and not hers. (msrosalyn-rp)
Quill furrowed his eyebrows as he recognized the scent of spilled blood. Lots of it. The leaves rustled beneath his shoes as he turned towards the smell. He didn’t have to go very far. A woman with blood dripping from her face and hands, agitated and glaring down at a dead body. His eyes widened as he saw the woman’s fangs.
“Well, you’re not very neat, are you?”
The new voice cuts through her anger, making her flinch and rush a spin to face the stranger, all at once. She’s surprisenly elegant for having been caught out. She bares her teeth, knees bending as she braced herself, “Anyone with eyes could see that” she bites out, though makes no movement to attack. She lets her eyes roam him for a silent moment, her snarl weakening as she takes in the stranger. She sniffs the air, then pulls a face “Great. One of you”
Quill raises an eyebrow at the woman’s defensive stance, but otherwise looks undaunted. “One of me? I was under the impression we were both rather the same. Well,” he looks at the scene with distaste, lips curling, “Maybe you’re a little less... skillful.”

my vampire boi gettin a snack ; )
[*busts through door* FAEPIRE HUMAN HSAU just for kIcks, hubby <3!] Quill sighed as he sat in the front row next to a little guy, shrugging off his jacket and leaning back in his seat. He looked at the boy beside him and smirked. "Huh. A little thing like you managed to beat the crap out of someone?"
[FUCK YEA MAN IM READY]
Antonio flinched at the sudden voice, but covered it up by running a hand through his hair. “A little thing like me is a lot tougher than he looks.” He spoke softly. “How’d you find out about that, anyway?” The blue-haired boy fiddled with the pencil in his hand, not making eye contact.
Antonio smiled softly as Quill ran his hands through his hair for a moment. “I like having people touch my hair.” He said quietly when Quill pulled back.
As the crowd began to grow louder, Antonio remembered he had earplugs in his pocket and carefully placed them in his ears. He smiled at Quill, still able to hear, and cheered with the family, feeling more comfortable and at ease than he had in a long time.
Quill flushed slightly and wordlessly threaded his fingers into Toni’s hair again. He returned the blue-haired boys smile as he put on earplugs. He was still in awe of how calming an effect Antonio had on him. It was very much unlike Sarah, who always required a lot of emotional energy and constant pleasing. And he only felt slightly guilty at thinking that. Which made him feel guilty. But he pushed it aside and enjoyed the moment, his emotions lifting as they announced that Wesley had won the competition. “Fuck yeah!” he accidentally dropped his 7 dollar pretzel dog in his excitement. Charlie stood in his seat and hollered in typical embarrassing-parent fashion.
Antonio leaned toward Quill’s hand, enjoyig the sensation. When the annoucer shouted that Wesley had won, the smaler boy stood up on his chair to cheer, throwing his hands in the air. He was glad for his earplugs because the roar of the crowd was almost overwhelming, but he felt swallowed up by the energy. He smiled widely at Quill, giving him a impulsive kiss on the cheek in celebration.
Quill shrugged at his fallen hot dog. His eyes widened slightly as he felt Toni’s cheek kiss, recovering quickly and giving Antonio a lopsided smile. “Well, I should take you out more often.” The statement ended up being more flirty than Quill had meant, but he merely anxiously ran a hand through his hair and smirked, going along with it.
Antonio blinked as the realization of his action hit. His face heated up quickly and he let out a nervous giggle, fluffing his hair. “Maybe you should-” He was cut short by a large guy in the seat in front of him accidentally elbowing him in the stomach. “Oof-!” He fell against Quill, having been knocked off his feet, and looked up at him.
“Woah,” Quill caught Toni by the shoulders, “You alright there?” he smiled as they made eye contact. “Didn’t know you were this desperate?” he gave the boy a wink.
