WELL, IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE NEEDS TO HIDE OUT WITH THE REST OF THE TITANS FOR A WHILE. 

alright, fine, people have started to spam my personal and other roleplay blogs about something that went on here last night with one of the slades that “i’d get a good laugh about”, so i’ve just popped in for a second to check out the dash, because they’ve gone to some real reaches to make me see it without telling me what it was and i don’t want them sending any more character-illusion-breaking messages to my other blogs.

picking up where i left off with the rest of the starters tomorrow! i wanted to get ‘em all out today, but baking cakes took a lot longer than i expected and now it’s nearly 5am, oh wow...

It takes a lot of time, effort and artistic talent to make Kory’s hair do anything but curl wildly in whichever ways it pleases, but those three necessities are something Joey is very generous with. He’s always wanted to style Kory’s hair, honestly - it’s a dream come true to be allowed to have his way with such a beautiful canvas.

With flowers braided into the strands and every part twisted into beautiful order, Kory could be just as much a fairytale Earth princess as she is flesh-and-blood royalty from Tamaran. Nothing can compare to the way it tumbles about her face and down her back completely untamed, of course, but there are different kinds of beauty; none of which detract from how glorious Kory is in her wholesome.

A side effect to being able to throw one’s soul around at will is that one learns to decipher others very easily - deep empathy comes naturally to Jericho, and though he hasn’t interacted with Aqualad before he can read the aquatic prince like a book.

Jericho hardly interacts with anyone, in fact, preferring to keep to the sidelines in silence, which is what is so surprising about his compulsion to touch Aqualad on the arm for his attention. Yes, he can read him very well - the young man is far from home and missing the ocean terribly; the longing rolling from him like waves breaking on the shore. Being Teen Titans takes up a lot of their time; and while this occupation is wonderful, old and distant lives get abandoned too quickly.

It’s not unusual for Deathstroke to break into Titans Tower whenever he pleases (he allows Nightwing and Cyborg to think their defence systems are impenetrable, but only for their own peace of mind - he’s done with trying to destroy the Titans anyway), which is why Jericho doesn’t turn a hair when his father appears in the place which is supposed to be a haven for the teen heroes. 

There’s really no point being surprised - one would waste a lot of energy imagining there were sensible limits to what Deathstroke could do. Joseph puts down his guitar; both to free his hands to sign and because the gentle music is still something he isn’t certain his father approves of. He never could be as rough and aggressive as Grant was.
