We are getting ready for the first ever QuickWest Week, and we’re going to need your help! Over the next few weeks we shall be posting polls to decide how this event is going to play out, and out first poll is decided the dates! All you got to do is vote in the poll below to determine when will be the best time for the event.

I talk about how much I love quickwest, but it should be noted how much I love Jesse on her own too.

She’s smart and sassy and quick (😏), and she’s so badass. She doesn’t take no for an answer, and she fights for what she wants. That said, she still has moments where she’s vulnerable and terrified. She will punch you if you’re pissing her off, but she’ll also let you hold her when she’s about to crumble. She’ll call you out on your crap. SHE SEES THROUGH EVERYTHING.

Sometimes she’s hasty and doesn’t think, but she learns from her mistakes. Everything she does has a reason behind it. She truly believes what she’s doing is the best thing she could do in that particular situation. She is an AMAZING superhero. If you tell her otherwise, she will fight you. But she does have moments of insecurity. She doesn’t necessarily NEED it, but the occasional confirmation that she’s doing a good job is appreciated. When she cares about someone, she REALLY cares about them. She can be on top of her game, but we saw first hand that a Jesse without her dad or Wally was ruthless, reckless, and, inevitably, a sobbing mess.

Jesse Quick went from being a helpless victim of Zoom to a badass speedster superhero in her own right. The transition has enhanced her confidence and made her stronger. She’s become a better version of herself because of it, but she never forgets her roots - graduated high school at 15? Five majors in college? Defiantly standing up to Zoom despite being petrified? Legit leaving STAR Labs to go to some obscure place on Earth 1 - a place she’s not familiar w/ at ALL - just to find her place outside of her father? Wanting to go back to E2 at the end of s2 but understanding that if her father has found purpose on E1, it’s okay if he stays there?
