thinking about inversion of genesis from the wanderer (pre-remembering of scaramouche's past)’s perspective is so funny to me. two people that you’ve never met before in your life come up to you and one of them accurately guesses your innermost secret and then says that they know you from somewhere. they take you to the literal god of the country and then tell you you were a war criminal in an alternate dimension, and that they knew you as a war criminal, even though you've literally just spent your whole life as the definition of Some Guy™️. then they ask you if you actually want to *remember* your past life as a war criminal, saying you gotta make up for your past life's sins, and you accept?????? and then they take you inside the tree of knowledge that the world is built on and give you so much trauma you get acknowledged by the gods for it. its so funny why is it so funny
