You reached up for a coffee mug on a high shelf, standing on your tip-toes in order to grab your favorite pumpkin-shaped one. A smile curled over your lips when you finally grasped it. You needed some caffeine after the nearly sleepless night you had that night.

You reached for the carafe and filled your mug almost to the top, then poured in some of Sam’s creamer. Ah, sweet caffeine.

Footsteps behind you nearly made you spill your coffee. You hated the echoes in that damn bunker. With a stunned gaze, you turned to meet Dean, whose eyes were as wide as yours.
