But I was wondering if it’d be alright for me to share this idea for a Skullgirls character that just won’t leave my mind?

I think it's a 50/50. I don't know that she was ever a popular pick for DLC and the upcoming pass fighters may be more "priority", but she's a pivotal character which matches the current pass seemingly being geared toward lore. She'd probably be the last reveal if they don't throw some Robo-Fortune-level curveball instead.

I think so. Annie's story, much like Eliza's, brought a lot to the table in terms of Skull Heart-related lore, so I'm assuming the others will do similarly. I'm curious what impact Dahlia will have since she seems less pertinent to the main plot than Annie and Umbrella.

I think the most important point is when Double says Annie "has never been closer to her true goal". This implies there is a way to destroy the Skull Heart for good, and it might involve destroying Double since Annie seemed so intent on it even when the catacombs were collapsing. It also brings up questions about how/where Gehenna can manifest and how long Double can exist without the Heart being active.

Off the top of my head, me being me, I wish we had gotten to see Parasoul interacting with Annie. Not just to watch Parasoul trying not to geek out, but also because I'm curious how Annie operates in relation to the government and how familiar they are with each other.
