The most insane thing about Hannibal, and everyone glosses over this, which is so funny because there are SO many insane things in that show, but the most insane thing is completely glossed over by us, is the whole Abigail ordeal. Like, yes, of course, two middle-aged, old-ass men are just going to groom and essentially kidnap a 19-year-old girl who has no family, who they saved because it was their job, but then they just pretended that was like a whole big deal, and after what, two weeks of knowing her, were calling her their family, and they were her fathers, and both of them just completely went along with it. And it's one thing to be like, yes, Hannibal was scheming and manipulating and all of that, but why did Will just follow along? Why did Jack allow this to happen? Why did Alana, and I think that's the worst, and I think this is why I dislike Alana so much, because what do you mean??? What do you mean you were responsible for this girl, but you knew nothing of her or where she was or what was happening, and you did such a piss-poor job that she did not trust you or like you, and so she didn't tell you anything and threw you off of a window. Anyways, I just think the whole Abigail ordeal is like the most insane thing about this show because it is soooooo inappropriate, like insanely inappropriate, and no one will convince me that Bryan Fuller isn't self-projecting on Abigail. Like, he wants to be a 19-year-old girl who has weird erotic vibes with middle-aged hot men. and same
