Just to avoid becoming homeless, we must pay $500 every month to rent the small plot of land where our tent stands. That is the price of having a roof over our heads.

and became without income. My sister, the doctor Amani, lost her job. We lost our beautiful home after the occupation demolished it. After more than two years, my main account @DrDarine has been terminated. This account was not just a social media profile. It was the platform through which I shared my family's suffering with the world, especially Mariam's stories. It was my only way to connect with people, raise awareness about our situation, and make our voices heard.
In very brief summary:
● Many of our family members were killed during this war.
● We lost everything, especially our HOME, our heaven, and now we live in a tent with rent.
● Faced unimaginable displacements and famine, and we continue to suffer from illness caused by the harsh living conditions here in Gaza.
Before the war, we were ordinary people, living normal lives. But unfortunately, I don't feel that anymore. I don't even know who we've become. All I can see and feel is my life collapsing before my eyes.

Death and shelling and casualties everywhere, and the mutilated bodies of children, and the evacuation and destruction of homes and the displacement of entire residential areas. Reconnaissance and combat aircraft and helicopters all the time, and targets in the streets and markets and the expansion of control zones.
Feelings of fear and anxiety.. and the terror of children returned quickly, after we had at least been in some kind of safety and calm, believing that all this had passed and ended.
All of this happens in silence, without announcement, without labels of "military operations" or "return of war," without statements.. and quietly.. without intervention or attempts or statements or pressures.
And thus we are left alone.. abandoned, being slaughtered, and the scene itself not even broadcast on screens because there are things more important.

After 9 long years of waiting, I was finally blessed with my youngest baby, Haneen. She should have been welcomed with joy and celebration. Instead, she was born into hardship.
